This position is located in the Indian Affairs (IA), Office of Facilities, Property and Safety Management (OFPSM), Division of Facilities Management and Construction, Branch of Education Construction. The mission of the DFMC is to ensure the efficient and effective stewardship of resources for new construction, renovation, and maintenance of Bureau-funded facilities, for the Bureau of Indian Education; Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services; and BIA Administrative programs.Requirements:
GS-13 :Experience:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level that includes performing of the following: (1) managing a facilities planning and design program; (2) preparing or reviewing planning and design cost estimates and/or budgets; (3) presenting program information orally and in writing; and (4) assigning work to subordinates in an engineering or architectural field.

Education:
Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or a L.L.M. in a related field of study.

Combination:
A combination of education and experience that totals 100% of the requirement.
