Requirements:
GS-6: To be eligible at the GS-6 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in Federal service.Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting higher level budget officers/analyst in monitoring a unit's operating budget; preparing routine payments, running recurring reports, and inputting data into an automated financial management system; reviewing documents with financial implications to ensure they are accurate and complete; preparing travel forms and assisting staff with use of automated travel system.
GS-7: To be eligible at the GS-7 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in Federal service.
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing analysis of financial data to determine trends in obligations and expenditures and recommending budget changes as required; reconciling costs/accounts on a scheduled basis; preparing invoices and other fiscal items for payment; noting, clarifying, and correcting financial discrepancies; preparing travel forms and assisting staff with use of automated travel system
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
