Description:
This position is located in the Indian Affairs (IA), Office of Facilities, Property and Safety Management (OFPSM), Division of Facilities Management and Construction (DFMC), Branch of Planning and Design. The incumbent reports to the Division Chief, DFMC. The mission of the DFMC is to ensure the efficient and effective stewardship of resources for new construction, renovation, and maintenance of Bureau-funded facilities and administrative programs.Requirements:
GS-13 :Experience:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level that includes performing of the following: (1) Managing a Regional facilities planning and design program; (2) Preparing or reviewing planning and design cost estimates and/or budgets for multimillion dollar construction projects; (3) briefing program information orally and presenting information memos and project updates in writing; and (4) Prioritizing and assigning work to subordinates in an engineering or architectural field.
Education:
Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or a L.L.M. in a related field of study.
Combination:
A combination of education and experience that totals 100% of the requirement.
