This position is part of the Assistant Deputy Administrator for Secure Transportation. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Management & Program Analyst , responsoble for interacting with DOE/NNSA headquarters and program office, nuclear weapons design labs, plants, and sites, and the Department of Defense to ensure nuclear weapon transportation and classification policy is technically accurate, concise, consistent, and properly applied.Requirements:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-02 or GS-12 equivalent. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: provide expert advice to NNSA managers and employees regarding NNSA and DOE classification, policy, procedures, related technical issues, and ensure implementation of information security policies and procedures; provide extensive coordination within the NNSA and its field elements, DOE, National Laboratories, other government agencies, contractors, and foreign governments to develop highly specialized classification guidance.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Conduct Derivative Classifier training and classification audits/assessments for the organization.
2. Evaluate declassification proposals and prepare analysis papers supporting the declassification decision, including interaction with the Technical Evaluation Panel.
